Warranty
We guarantee our products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, as defined here and in the documentation included with your product. Our guarantee starts from the date of purchase. This warranty only applies to Dyad or Niu branded products that we sell or distribute. If you do not agree with the terms of the warranty, you can return the product and get a refund if the conditions stated in our return policy are met.
Questions
Electric kick scooters (ex. KQi-Series/KS-03/KS-04...)
New electric kick scooters are guaranteed for 2 years or up to 10,000 km.
Electric mopeds (ex. DS1, UQi-Series…)
New electric mopeds are guaranteed for 2 years or up to 10,000 km.
Electric bicycles (ex. BQi-Series, BBOSS, C-04, S-04, F-04…)
New electric bikes are guaranteed for 2 years or up to 10,000 km.
Electric scooters (NQi GT, NQi Sport, M+…)
New electric scooters are guaranteed for 2 years or up to 10,000 km.
Batteries
New lithium batteries are guaranteed 2 years or up to 10,000 km.
Demos, used, unboxed or reconditioned products
All used/demo/unboxed/reconditioned products are guaranteed for 1 year or up to 2,000 km.
Our warranty can be transferred from the original owner to the next owner as long as our original invoice is included in the resale. We only honor guarantees for owners who can present proof of the original date of purchase.
We guarantee parts and labour. If you return a defective product, we'll pay for the shipping or pickup fees if your claim occurs within the 14-day period indicated in our return policy. After this time, you agree to pay for the shipping or pickup fees (if applicable).
Dyad Products
We are the manufacturer, distributor and retailer of Dyad-branded products. If you have a problem and have bought your product directly from us, please contact our customer service department. We will be happy to assist you. However, if the original purchase was made from one of our official reseller, please contact that reseller. They will take care of the warranty claim with us.
NIU Products
In Canada, we are the distributor of NIU-branded products. This means that the voluntary warranty we offer on NIU products is only valid if the product is originally purchased from us or one of our authorized resellers. If you have a problem and have bought your NIU product directly from us, please contact our customer service department. We will be happy to assist you. However, if you bought your product from one of our authorized resellers, contact that reseller. They will take care of your warranty claim with us.
Products of Other Brands
The warranty applies only to Dyad-branded or NIU-branded hardware products or software. Other brands are covered by their manufacturer or distributor, even if they are packaged or sold with Dyad or NIU equipment. For any claim, you will need to contact the manufacturers or distributors of these products.
The warranty does not cover:
— Normal wear and tear
— Improper assembly or general maintenance
— Improper repair or follow-up maintenance by a NIU representative or under direct supervision of a NIU representative (online, phone, in-person, etc.)
— Mistakes following the instructions and warnings provided in the user manual or given by a NIU representative (whether verbally or in writing)
— Installation or modification of components, parts, or accessories not originally intended for, or compatible with the vehicle, as sold
— Damage due to an accident, fire, misuse, abuse, theft, or neglect
— Use for purposes other than for which the vehicle was designed, or involved in commercial use, unless the product is built and explicitly promoted for commercial use – such as commercial delivery or illegal activities
— Rust, corrosion, or defects which are caused by extreme environmental conditions to which the vehicle could be exposed (ex. ice, snow, seawater, etc.)
— Cracking of the frame caused by excessive load
— Bent, out of shape wheel or motor caused by poor road conditions
— Flat tires
User manuals provide more disclaimers and limitations of liability that are incorporated into the warranty. It is the product owner’s responsibility to read the user manuals.
NOTE: Our warranty applies solely to Niu or Dyad products originally purchased from us or one of our authorized resellers. Other brands are covered by their manufacturer or distributor, even if they are packaged or sold with Dyad or Niu equipment. For any claim, you will need to contact the manufacturers or distributors of these products.
Dyad Products

If during the warranty period you submit a claim to us or a reseller, according to the situation, we will:
(i) repair the product using new or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, or
(ii) replace the product with the same model (or with your consent a product that has similar functionality) formed from new and/or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, or
(iii) exchange the product for a refund of your purchase price
If a part or product is replaced or if a refund is given, any replacement product will become your property and the refunded or replaced product will belong to us.
A replacement part or product or a repaired product will remain covered by the remaining warranty of the original product or for a period of 90 days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever is longer.
We provide warranty service through one of the following methods:
(i) Carry-in service. You can drop off the product to be repaired at our stores or an affiliate. Once the repair has been completed, you may pick up your product.
(ii) Mail-in service. We may ask you to mail your product for warranty coverage. We will send you a return label and packaging materials (if necessary) to allow you to ship your product. Once the repair is completed, the product will be returned to you. According to our return policy for defective products, if you return a defective product, we'll pay for the shipping or pick-up fees if your claim occurs within the 14-day period indicated in our return policy. After this time, you agree to pay for the shipping or pick-up fees (if applicable). We suggest that you carefully inspect any new product and use it as often as possible during the first 14 days.
(iii) Do-it-yourself. We will send you a replacement product, part or accessory (e.g., mirrors or foot pegs), along with installation instructions, if applicable. Note: we are not responsible for any labor costs you incur relating to do-it-yourself parts service. You may have to return the defective part or product before we can send you a new part or product. For any assistance, feel free to contact our customer support.
The warranty does not cover any direct, indirect, special or incidental loss, expense or damage resulting from the use or inability to use this product.
We are not liable for any of the following:
(a) loss of profits; or
(b) loss of business; or
(c) decrease in goodwill and/or other similar losses; or
(d) loss of anticipated savings; or
(e) loss of property; or
(f) loss of contracts; or
(g) lack of use; or
(h) loss or damage to data or information; or
(i) any special, indirect, consequential or purely economic damage, loss, expense, or cost.
