What Conditions Must I Comply with to Rent a scooter or a Bike?
Regular Bicycles - Anyone over 13 years old able to ride a bicycle can rent one. You must bring 2 valid pieces of ID (i.e. driving licence, sunlife card, passport, etc.) and a credit card for preauthorization purpose. Read and sign the bike rental agreement and waiver release. Wear a helmet.
Electric Bikes & Scooters - Renting a Dyad is fast and easy, however you will need to comply with the conditions below Be over 18 years old and provide 2 valid pieces of ID Riders age 18 or over do not require a driver licence to operate an electric scooter or electric bike but must show valid ID cards with pictures and proof of age (driving licence, sunlife card, passport, etc.) at the departure point.
Dyad electric scooters and electric bicycles are legally classified as power-assisted bicycles. This means that they are bound by the same laws that apply to traditional bikes, not motorcycles or cars.
Provide a credit card for preautorization Guests must present a credit card for temporary hold (a pre-authorization). The preauthorization amount ranges from $ 250 to $ 500 depending on the rental models. Read and sign all the bike and scooter rental documents.

What Documents Do You Need to Bring on the Day of Rental?
Who Can Rent the Rental Scooter or the Rental Bicycle?
Bicycles - anyone over 13 years old able to ride a bicycle.
Electric scooters and electric bicycles - All people who satisfy the age requirements (i.e. 18 and over).
Each driver must be a named driver on the rental contract with supplementary drivers incurring an additional charge. In case of damage only the person who signs the contract will be responsible for any costs incurred.
If under age 18, riders are welcome as passengers only. They must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will sign a liability waiver.
Is that Easy to Ride a Scooter?
Super easy. It's like riding a traditional bike, but more comfortable. We also offer a free complimentary training to get you on the road.
What's Included in the Rentals?
The rental price includes helmet, lock, map and directions from our staff.
When is Payment Taken?
We are very flexible. For reservations made directly at a rental station, your account will be debited when you pick up the vehicle or once you return it. You'll agree the start and return times with the staff.
For online reservations, your credit card is debited when you confirm the booking. Adjustments will be made in store, if necessary.
Do You Offer Roadside Assistance Service?
Dyad offers roadside service. Whenever you need help, you can reach us by phone or online.
Pick up + Drop Off Service for people, Bikes or Scooters
A courtesy pick-up/drop-off may be arranged at a modest fee. We can pick you up or drop you off at your hotel. Get in touch with us for more info on this.
Booking, Reservations, Modifications, Cancellation and No Show Policy
All reservations require a full advance payment via credit card or debit card. It can be done through our online reservation system in person, or by phone.
We will send an e-mail confirmation of the date and time of your rental. Deposits are fully refundable if the reservation is cancelled 2 days -48 hours or more prior to the scheduled tour.
No shows are charged in full. The deposit will not be refunded for any reason within 48 hours of your scheduled tour or rental.
What Happens if my Rental gets Stolen, Damaged or Lost?
If your rental bike, scooter or electric bike gets stolen or you lose or break parts, you are totally responsible for the loss. If a bike gets stolen you have to inform immediately Dyad. If you have an insurance at home which may pay for the stolen two-wheel you have to ask for a police report at the local police station. The rental documents that you'll sign before departure explain your responsibility in details.
Liability in Case of Accident
You should have coverage through your own accident and liability insurance. We are not responsible under any circumstances for accidents or damages caused to you or which you caused to any third party or cases of liability.
